Periodically our Board of Directors receives correspondence from Fairfax County Government agencies that pertain to all county residents: health, safety, infrastructure and so on. They come in the form of letters or flyers. In order to disseminate the information in a timely manner, outside the scope of the newsletter, we will post them in the Documents section of this website and inside the Resident Portal.


The Fairfax County Police Department has implemented a new information dissemination protocol. Not only can you get your news and daily reports through an email update but you can also get update Tweets. Simply subscribe to either communication method by going to their website at https://fcpdnews.wordpress.com/. The information will include all Fairfax Police districts including the West Springfield Police Station (the PD jurisdiction we are in, not to be confused with our Mt. Vernon Magisterial jurisdiction).


Fairfax Alerts is a customizable way to get emergency and non-emergency alerts in Fairfax. It is customizable to what types of weather alerts you wish to receive, along with traffic and public safety alerts. Learn about county government non-emergency notices such as taxes and elections.
